Accreditation and certification

The Master of Companion Animal Clinical Science has achieved the following accreditations:

In 2023 the Master of Companion Animal Clinical Science (surgery) programme received the VetCEE accreditation for the European certificate, Companion Animal Surgery. The accreditation is for the five basic species-specific part of the programme (5 basic courses), corresponding European certificate, Companion Animal Surgery.

In 2014 the Master of Companion Animal Clinical Science programme received the VetCEE accreditation from the European Coordinating Committee on Veterinary Training (ECCVT) and the programme was re-accredited again in 2019. The accreditation is for the basic species-specific part of the programme, corresponding to the Danish Veterinary Association's two-year certification programme in Companion Animal Diseases/Small Animal Diseases.

The Master of Companion Animal Clinical Science was given a positive accreditation by The Danish Accreditation Institution in November 2012. The Danish Accreditation Institution consists of the Accreditation Council and the accreditation operator ACE Denmark.
