Assistant professor Rebecca Langhorn

DVM, PhD

Rebecca Langhorn graduated in 2007 from the University of Copenhagen. Following two years in private referral practice, she returned to the university as a PhD student, working with validation and clinical application of myocardial injury biomarkers in canine and feline critical disease. She defended her PhD in 2013 and is presently employed as assistant professor in internal and emergency medicine at the Department of Veterinary Clinical and Animal Sciences, University of Copenhagen, while also undertaking a residency in internal medicine.

Her primary clinical and research interests are cardiac biomarkers, hematology, and hemostasis.
