The specialisation on Companion Animal Diagnostic Imaging consists of the following courses:

By following the specialisation track on Companion Animal Diagnostic Imaging you will gain

  • Advanced knowledge and skills within the digital image modalities, CT and MRI. Emphasis will be placed on acquiring an appreciation of the clinical indications these modalities and their relative advantages and disadvantages.
  • Advanced level skills for interpretation of ultrasonography. Emphasis will be placed on acquiring skills to obtain diagnostic quality images and on the formulation of diagnosis based on imaging findings.
  • Advanced level understanding of diagnostic imaging modalities, including conventional radiographs, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasonography, nuclear medicine - scintigraphy and DEXA will be included.
