Ann Strøm

Dr. Strøm is a Board-Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She completed her Master’s thesis on canine glaucoma at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. She then went on to complete her residency training in comparative ophthalmology at the University of California, Davis and stayed on for 2 years as a clinical associate following her residency.

She is the author of several peer-reviewed scientific articles within the field of ophthalmology and she is an invited reviewer for several peer-reviewed scientific journals, including the Veterinary Ophthalmology journal.

Dr. Strøm is currently working in private practice as an ophthalmology specialist in Denmark and Sweden and part time at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences as a supervising diplomate. She also serves as an invited member of the ECVO scientific committee.

Dr. Strøm maintains a strong interest in clinical ophthalmology, microsurgery, ocular toxicology, advanced diagnostic imaging, optics, comparative ophthalmology and vision research.
