Professor Mette Berendt

Professor Mette Berendt, Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Section for Surgery, Neurology and Cardiology, University of Copenhagen is the Course Director at the Neurology specialisation track and a lecturer in neurology at the Internal Medicine module of the compulsory part of the Master.

Mette Berendt is internationally recognized as a speaker at international congresses and courses and an associate member of the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN). Her research focus is on comparative studies of CNS disease shared by dogs and humans, especially canine epilepsy, ischemic stroke, dementia and neuropathic pain.
