Tina Møller SørensenDr. Tina Møller Sørensen is a veterinary graduate from the University of Copenhagen  (Denmark) in 2006.  After working a few years in small animal practice in Copenhagen, she returned to the University Hospital for Companion Animals as a clinic veterinarian in 2008. She defended her PhD thesis in canine urinary tract infections in March 2018.

She is presently employed at the University of Copenhagen as Assistant Professor in veterinary general medicine. Dr. Sørensen’s primary research focus considers diagnostic quality and clinical decision-making in primary practice within canine urinary tract infections and vaccine serology as well as infection control and antimicrobial stewardship.

As part of her present position, Dr. Sørensen regularly engages in clinical rotations in general medicine and participate in teaching activities, including basic principles of urinalysis and urine cultures.

On the programme Dr. Sørensen will participate in the lecturing in the Methodology and Paraclinical skills module and Internal Medicine module on the compulsory part of the Master's programme and on the Internal Medicine specialisation track.
