Assistant Professor Tina Møller Sørensen


Dr. Tina Møller Sørensen is a veterinary graduate from the University of Copenhagen  (Denmark) in 2006.  After working a few years in small animal practice in Copenhagen, she returned to the University Hospital for Companion Animals as a clinic veterinarian in 2008. She has just submitted her PhD thesis in canine urinary tract infections in December 2017.

She is presently employed at the University of Copenhagen as Assistant Professor in veterinary internal medicine. Dr. Sørensen’s primary research focus considers antibiotic stewardship in primary practice including diagnostic quality and clinical decision-making for canine urinary tract infections.

As part of her present position, Dr. Sørensen regularly engages in clinical rotations in internal medicine and participate in teaching activities, including basic principles of urinalysis and urine cultures.

On the programme Dr. Sørensen will participate in the lecturing in the Internal Medicine module on the compulsory part of the Master's programme and on the Internal Medicine specialisation track.
