Tuition fees
All students must pay tuition fees and an admission fee. The amount varies according to your citizenship, enrolment status and programme choices. Please find the specific course fees under each course.
Tuition fees are subsidized for EU citizens, including those from the EEA and Switzerland*.

The admission fee covers library facilities, administration, student guidance and guarantees that all basic courses will be conducted at least once every second year.
The tuition fees cover catering during course hours for courses located in Denmark except for the “Clinical Specialty Practice”; hotel and full board for courses located in Italy and Germany; and all course materials except textbooks.
The tuition fee is lower for students enrolled on the master’s programme.

*Citizens from EU, EEA and Switzerland are entitled to subsidized tuition fee, due to EU legislation. The Danish Government pays a Ministry subsidy for citizens from EU, EEA and Switzerland. The subsidy applies to students admitted to the Master of Companion Animal Clinical Science programme and students admitted to individual courses under this programme.

Enrol and save 3,000 – 3,500 DKK per course
Once you are admitted to Master of Companion Animal Clinical Science, you are entitled to a reduced fee for the courses you enrol in. The reduced price is given from the day you are admitted and cannot be given retroactively.
If you intend to complete the Master of Companion Animal Clinical Science, programme enrolment may save you more than 21,000 DKK in tuition fees.

Tuition fees are paid per course.
Once you have been admitted to a course, you will receive an invoice. Please make sure to pay before the payment deadline. If you miss the due date, your admission to the course may be withdrawn.
University of Copenhagen does not offer grants or scholarships for the Master of Companion Animal Clinical Science programme or any of the individual courses. Nor can we answer inquiries regarding funding.
