Assistant Professor Lene E. Buelund

Lene E. Buelund works as an assistant professor in Veterinary Imaging at the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Section of Veterinary Imaging.
Lene holds a PhD in Computer Tomography and have extensive knowledge within the field of quantitative measurements of diagnostic images. Besides Computer Tomography, Lene also have a special interest in nuclear medicine being responsible for both iodine treatment of feline hyperthyroidism together with responsibility for the SPECT scanner unit at the Companion Animal Teaching Hospital as well as the equine scintigraphy unit at the Large Animal Teaching Hospital.
In the clinical work Lene contributes to the fields of Conventional Radiology, Ultrasonography, Computer Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Fluoroscopy.
