Dr. Silvia Jauernig

Silvia graduated from Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany, in 1994, and was awarded the title of diplomate in surgery in the year of 2000.

With a diploma in surgery, she is one of the most highly trained veterinary surgeons in Norway. She has gained valuable experience from being a surgeon for over 20 years and worked at several renowned clinics in Europe.

Among other things, she has a residency in surgery from the University of Bern, and she has been a teacher for several years at the same university. Silvia performs all types of surgical procedures, including arthroscopies, laparoscopies, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery, fracture surgery, challenging soft tissue surgery, and neurosurgery. In addition, she conducts lameness evaluations and neurological cases.
