Dr. Jon Wray


Dr. Jon Wray graduated from University of Bristol in 1996 and after two years in mixed practice returned to Bristol to complete a three year Residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine. 

Dr. Wray will participate in the teaching of the Internal Medicine specialization track of the Master of Companion Animal Clinical Science.

He is a Diplomate and RCVS-Recognised Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine and previous Chief Examiner of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Small Animal Medicine and Diploma in Small Animal Medicine. He has previously held posts in Academia and Private Referral Practice including as Head of Small Animal Medicine at the Animal Health Trust, Newmarket and Clinical Fellow in Cardiorespiratory Medicine at the University of Bristol. 

He is currently enrolled on the Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology and in his current position is as Consultant in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Dick White Referrals, Suffolk and Honorary Associate Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine, University of Nottingham.

His caseload is split between Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Radiology. Jon’s main clinical interests are cardiology, endoscopy, haemostasis and minimally invasive treatments.
